Finals week is right around the corner, and with that in mind, remember that the way you study effects how well you retain the knowledge. Consider these tips:

1. Get plenty of sleep. Pulling all-nighters is probably not the healthiest way to cram in information. You certainly won’t remember anything when you can’t even keep your head up.

2. Eat a healthy breakfast.

Scientists say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Maybe they’re on to something.

3. Find some place quiet. If your roommates are too noisy, try the library. Avoiding distractions will only improve your focus.

4. Take study breaks. This gives your brain a chance to re-energize. Retaining information is difficult to do when you try to take everything in at once.

The key is to practice healthy habits.

Remember: You’re almost done, so take extra care of yourself and good luck!
