It is true that VegiTerranean is a vegan and kosher restaurant, but it is also partly a bar.
Just like the restaurant, it is a bar for the drinker in all of us who likes to feel sophisticated.
The clean ivory topped bar and the stylish atmosphere couples beautifully with the fine wine and martini selection.
It is also one of the only bars in Akron with an outdoor area where you can order a drink directly from the bar.
There is close to 50 champagne and wine choices available, along with 15 different martini combinations on any given night of the week.
VegiTerranean is not without a solid beer list either; typical domestic beers abound, along with many Great Lakes Brewery choices, the most expensive of which is only $4.25.
Most of the martinis are between $9 to $10 and glasses of wine top out at $8, but if you are feeling the need to celebrate in a grand fashion they have a bottle of Dom Perignon Champagne for a meager $175.
Although the bar is a great part of VegiTerranean, it really is not the biggest attraction to this restaurant.
It has an extensive menu of appetizers, entrées, sandwiches and salads to choose from that are all exquisitely prepared by classically trained chefs.

If you’re worried that all they have is exotic vegetables that only a select few enjoy, never fear, the menu includes the serving of Gardein, which is garden grown protein.
Basically, it is the equivalent of the best vegan burgers that are sold. Stop in for lunch and try the vegan burger it is exquisite.
This means that there is a variety of chicken or burger vegan substitutes that really do pop with flavor when the entire entrée is put together.
Assistant manager Kelly Wise said, You can’t get this specific style of food anywhere else.
The only drawback to such succulent dishes is that they are not cheap.
For most of the entrées the bill is going to be around $18.
The restaurant also offers daily dessert specials and fresh pastries.
So, if you have been searching for a classy restaurant with a twist of style then this would be the prime location to go on a serious date.
Many people have no idea how good the unknown could potentially be.
