Zippy Multisport raises money in Tri-for-a-Cure

On Nov. 8th and 9th, Zippy Multisport (ZMS) hosted Tri-for-a-Cure in hopes of raising funds to help children and their families suffering from cancer.

Tri-for-a-Cure is a charity triathlon for Akron Children’s Blood and Cancer fund which focuses  on helping families who cannot provide for themselves by providing them with medications, treatments, physical therapy and other medical treatments essential for recovering their health.

The triathlon’s events were cycling, swimming and running.

Two members of ZMS, Emerson Cloud and Hannah Cebull, biked at Munroe Falls on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 10:30 a.m. until 2 p.m for the first part of the triathlon.

On Sunday, Nov. 9 starting at 4:30 p.m., Hannah Cebull along with another Member of ZMS, Vincent O’Leary, swam at the Ocasek Natatorium while other members of ZMS, Cody George and Monty Fuss, ran in the field house for their part of the triathlon.tri-thonGraphic by Ted Boyer
