“If you’re a student living on or near campus, you may single-handedly hold the key to reducing the parking crisis. Walk. If you’re so stubborn that you insist on using some method involving wheels, then ride a bike or take the Roo shuttle. Even carpooling could dramatically help solve the lack of space, but the last thing on your mind should be to take it out on other drivers.”

Garage rage, as it will now be dubbed, is probably the most immature behavior recently displayed by students and faculty associated with the parking problem.

Perhaps no one told you this, but the end result is no more satisfying than just driving away from it.

Pouring soda on cars and screaming at defenseless people in their SUVs won’t change the fact that you still don’t have a place to park and you’re certainly not proving to anyone, well…anything at all!

It’s become apparent that people are even getting upset from others taking their spots after leaving.

They’re protecting the open space like animals!

If that’s the way you are going to act, then someone should really try to figure out who issued your license, because you don’t deserve it.

There’s an idea! Let’s just ban all the garage ragers from parking on campus all together.

You can bet your open parking space that lots would open up a bit.

People so educated should not act so primitive. Period.
