It’s that time of year again – students are celebrating the end of another semester. What better way to do this than by attending SpringFest? SpringFest is on Friday, May 6 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Coleman Common.

This year, Spring Fest welcomes rapper Kid Ink. Kid Ink performs on the main stage at 8 p.m.

Now in its seventh year, SpringFest features games, attractions, free items, and more. The event is open to UA students, faculty, and staff. With a valid ZipCard, students can bring up to three guests.

From 4 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., attendees can get airbrushed pennants, henna body art, take pictures with friends in a photobooth, and create sand art. Guests can also enjoy various attractions including a portable zip-line, mechanical bull, bungee run, toxic drop, and more.

At 6:30 p.m., the Akron Idol contest will begin on the main stage. The Final Ultimate SpringFest Challenge will begin at 7:30 p.m. Afterward at 9:30 there will be fireworks.

Guests can stop by a tent and buy a SpringFest T-shirt for $5, available in limited quantities. Shirt sales will run from 4 to 8 p.m.
