Outsiders Challenge – 2

“Plain and simple, I was Munsoned. Things seemed off from the start of the game. The lane had a ridiculously strong oil pattern that effectively took throwing a hook out of the equation. Did I demand a new lane? Hell no. I changed my game plan and just threw the ball straight.”

Plain and simple, I was Munsoned.

Things seemed off from the start of the game. The lane had a ridiculously strong oil pattern that effectively took throwing a hook out of the equation. Did I demand a new lane? Hell no. I changed my game plan and just threw the ball straight.

Despite how he might look, Bosma’s normal bowling style is straight. The advantage was his. Did he have something to do with the lane not working suddenly when I would try to bowl? Probably. Losing wasn’t on me. I prepared like a champ.

Last night I watched old bowling tapes of Pete Webber’s 300 game. I had eggs for dinner and worked out. I went to bed listening to The Big Lebowski soundtrack. This morning I woke up to do a quick run to loosen the legs. I followed that up with a White Russian while lying on the rug in my room, listening to a tape of bowling balls hitting pins. I was ready to bring the pain.

I didn’t count on having everything go wrong. We tried to bowl twice, but were twice delayed because of a bowling class. This was Bosma’s doing.

I’m glad he won this week. After I destroy him next week at punt, pass and kick, I don’t need him quitting the Buchtelite out of embarrassment.
