AMC Theaters has brought back, for the second year, a marathon of films shown the day before the Academy Awards Ceremony takes place.

Five films, all of which are nominated for Best Picture Oscars during the year 2007, are shown one after the other, with short breaks between each and an extended dinner break between the third and fourth films.

One admission price of $30 gets a special keepsake pass for the theater and a free large popcorn with unlimited refills.

Last year, Northeast Ohio hosted a showing, but for 2008 the nearest theater is the AMC Easton Town Center 30 outside Columbus.

Atonement is a crafty romantic film concerning the life the main character creates around her family.

She accuses her older sister’s romantic partner of a crime he never committed, and the decades the family endured through the deception and breakup of the romance.

The only non-drama on the list, Juno explores the social themes involved with teenage pregnancy, friendships and relationships that change due to a pregnancy.

The title character goes on a quick ride into adulthood and builds a relationship with the family who will adopt her baby.

No Country for Old Men is a dark thriller of a drug deal gone wrong, violence and murders in 80s Texas. Based on Cormac McCarthy’s 2005 novel of the same name.
