The decision to bring in these two major bands was made by E.J. Thomas’s Student Network.

The network consists of 35 students who represent 26 student organizations and departments across the campus.

The Student Network was created for E.J. Thomas to hear what the students wanted on campus and what prices they would be willing to pay.

The Chevelle and Finger Eleven concert will continue the Rock The Roo Series that E.J. started in the fall semester. The Rock the Roo concert series consisted of four concerts that were available to UA students for free. Boo at the Roo, which was the first Halloween event at UA, featured the band Skinny.

The Spring Semester will continue the Rock the Roo series with four more concerts.

E.J. is also exploring different possibilities such as bringing the concerts to different locations such as the South Quad and Quaker Square.

Along with Chevelle and Finger Eleven, E.J. Thomas is also hosting Colbie Caillat who is known for her hit Bubbly.

The concert is scheduled for April 29 and is sponsored by ASG/ZPN.

More information about upcoming events and concerts can be viewed at: www.eventsatua.com

Tickets for the Chevelle and Finger Eleven concert went on pre-sale to UA students Friday, January 25 at 10:30 a.m., and went on sale to the public the following Tuesday.

Tickets for the public cost $20, but with a valid Zipcard, you can purchase up to two tickets for the price of $15 each. E. J. Thomas has 2,955 seats, but 2,200 tickets must be sold to open the grand tier.
