Our View

“Spring break is less than two weeks away, but it’s not too late to plan a healthier, productive way to spend this time away from school. While loafing around and doing nothing on break may seem like a good idea, you could spend it helping those less fortunate in a soup kitchen or volunteering with an organization such as Habitat for Humanity.”

Spring break is less than two weeks away, but it’s not too late to plan a healthier, productive way to spend this time away from school.
While loafing around and doing nothing on break may seem like a good idea, you could spend it helping those less fortunate in a soup kitchen or volunteering with an organization such as Habitat for Humanity.
While it is too late to register for it, the university’s alternative spring break trip will be going to the Gulf Coast to help people.
Helping those less fortunate may help you take your mind off the stress that you might have waiting for you when you return to school and will also keep you fit and active and from indulging in less healthy habits.
Spend your spring break productively, but don’t forget to have fun while you’re at it!
