With the cold never ending, we think that the university needs to turn up the heat in the buildings.

The buildings are freezing and it is ridiculous.

We understand that they are trying to conserve energy, but they should try to make their students and faculty comfortable too.

By the time we walk through the frigid tundra of Ohio to get to our class, the last thing we want to do is freeze when we get there.

Unfortunately, it seems like that is of what we usually do.

It’s beginning to get so bad that some of us have to wear our coats during class just so we aren’t shivering.

The problem with this is that wearing a coat during class isn’t very conducive to learning.

It’s hard to take notes when the bulkiness of our coats is hindering our movements.

And we really doubt that professors like seeing their students wear coats the whole time.

It probably makes them feel that their students aren’t paying attention, and honestly, with a coat on, we probably aren’t.

We’re not asking that the university turn up the heat so high that it feels like we’re walking into a sauna, but we would like to go to class in warmer rooms.
