Web sites to help you with your Spring Break search

“If you haven’t booked your Spring Break trip yet, there’s still time. With break coming in about a month, last minute planning can still be done, and some of the prices may surprise you. Not only do many Web sites offer cheap hotel stays, but many even come with deals on food and drinks.”

If you haven’t booked your Spring Break trip yet, there’s still time.

With break coming in about a month, last minute planning can still be done, and some of the prices may surprise you.

Not only do many Web sites offer cheap hotel stays, but many even come with deals on food and drinks.

Step one in planning your trip is deciding where to go. Trendy spots like Daytona Beach, Fla. and South Beach in Miami will always be worth your while, but, why not head out of the U.S. and enjoy some of the nicest beaches on the planet?

Finding good sources to book your travel is easier than you think, too. Use this list of Web sites to help book an unforgettable Spring Break.

Sunsplashtours.com

The Sun Splash Tours site could not be any easier to use. Simply put in your destination (there are 14 destinations to choose from), how many people are going and how long you want to stay.

For example, a trip to Cancun, Mexico for one week will average about $1,000, but that includes room and airfare.

If beaches aren’t really your cup of tea, book a trip to Paris or Germany.

And if paying money isn’t your thing, you can always skip class and try to sell 15 trips for the company and they’ll send you somewhere for free.

Springbreak.com

Springbreak.com offers a plain and simple Web site that is easy to navigate. It offers cruises, tours and your normal spring break trips.

With eight locations located from the Gulf of Mexico to the Carribean Islands to the beaches of Mexico, a sunny and pleasant Spring Break will await you.

No matter what your plans might be for Spring Break, you still have time to plan for a great trip.

However, prices for trips continue to rise every week as break draws near.

To ensure your spring break runs smoothly, here are a few tips:

If you’re going out of the country, a Passport is mandatory. As of January 23, 2007, there is no exception to not having a passport. If you don’t bring it-you don’t go.

Road trips are a great idea, but make sure your car is going to make it. Get a check up before you end up stranded on the side of the road.

Don’t trust everyone you meet. When you’re around a bunch of strangers, the last thing you need is a missing wallet or bag.

Take sunscreen if you’re heading to the beach. Most of our student body is pale right now due to the winter conditions-no one needs to come back beat-red.
