Sex. Men think about it every 17 seconds, women every 41 seconds, Jane Martin, author of Sez She said.
UA students are definitely exceeding the average.
Public Displays of Affection (PDA) can be seen everywhere on campus.
Maybe they should get a room.
Is it really necessary to be all over each other before a class, when in less than two hours you will see their face again?
Yes, sex is fun and it feels good.
It is supposed to be that way in order to keep committed people together.
When done in a loving, committed relationship, it is pure joy.
When it’s a one night stand or a booty call, it’s just plain old sex.
Either way, we all need protection against STDs.
Number one rule: use a condom every time.
Attention ladies, it is not hoe-ish to carry condoms.
Forget what mommy said about being a young lady, and be wise.
Sex is going to most likely happen in college.
It is a place for all sorts of experimentation.
So, be proactive about your health and future.
The Health and Wellness Center on campus offers women’s wellness examinations including PAP smears, contraception counseling, and information about sexually transmitted diseases or preventive health care and education through confidential appointments.
Contacting Health Services at 330-972-7808.
Planned Parenthood is also another resource available to anyone.
The nearest location is at 444 W. Exchange St. and offers all services at a sliding scale fee based on income.
Part of college is to learn, and the other part is to have fun.
If having fun includes sex, then it’s better to be safe then sorry.
There is no excuse not to protect yourself against sexually transmitted diseases or an unplanned pregnancy.
