President Barack Obama will visit The University of Akron this Wednesday as part of his presidential campaign.
The president will speak in the James A. Rhodes Arena. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. Tickets were released at the JAR, the Summit County Democratic Headquarters, and the Laborers Union Hall Monday morning at 8 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.
President Obama is also scheduled to speak in Cincinnati earlier in the day on Wednesday. His recent campaign event in Florida was canceled, as he had to fly to Washington D.C. to deal with the current hurricane situation.
