It was a hot Monday night when Radiohead’s lead singer Thom Yorke took the stage in front of a soldout Blossom crowd.

His quirky stage persona was worshiped by the 20,000+ attendees.

The band was bordered by a mystifying background of billowing fog, ominously illuminated walls, and several projector screens.

Together with his band mates, Yorke successfully put on both an entertaining and musically pleasing performance.

Yorke played a mostly calm and collected lead man, sticking primarily to his trademark head bob/swivel while singing.

There were, however, a couple outstanding moments when he showed off a crazy sort of arm and leg bend wobble dance.

This description is perhaps as awkward and peculiar as how the dance itself looked.

It did provide some comic relief for me, however, as dozens of skinny, long haired fans oddly tried to mimic their hero on stage.

The band played a healthy quantity of their most recently released 2007 album, In Rainbows, but was happy to receive uproars of applause from fan favorites like Creep and Karma Police.

They were tight as an ensemble and looked like they were having as good of time up on stage as the listening fans in attendance.

Radiohead has established itself as one of the great bands to originate during the ’90s.

They have proven their artistic longevity by selling over 25 million copies of their first six albums.
