The founder and CEO of OrgSync, Eric Fortenberry, visited The University of Akron on Nov. 2 as the inaugural speaker in Akron’s Leadership Speaker Series. His presentation drew on his experiences as a student organization leader turned CEO, and he encouraged students to use their college experience as a time to focus on personal and professional development.

The Student African-American Sisterhood: three years old in October

The Student African-American Sisterhood, created in the fall of 2009 celebrated their third year of existence October 12 and are currently preparing for more festivities. SAAS is an on-campus organization that focuses on the success and development of the University’s female African-American population.
