UA graduate student makes history

Jennifer Browning’s performance in “The Gospel According to Tammy Faye” was not just an impressive acting debut for her; it was arguably the most remarkable debut in UA theater history. Based on her performance, she was nominated to compete for the Irene Ryan Scholarship at the Kennedy Center’s American College Theatre Festival Region II at The University of Pennsylvania. Maryland, Delaware, District of Columbia, New Jersey, Western New York, Northern Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia compose Region II.
