The scoring started early when Eric Stevenson scored in the second minute from a Robbie Derschang pass.
Thirty minutes later, after a foul, Chad Barson headed in a goal from Dillon Serna’s free kick.
Reinaldo Brenes scored his 10th goal of the season off a corner kick in the 51st minute. Brenes has scored in seven of his last eight matches to lead the team.

The Zips dominated Hartwick (4-9-2, 1-4 MAC) 18-3. The defense continued their exceptional play by not allowing a single shot on goal (12-0).
With this win, the Zips have earned the right to host the MAC tournament from Nov. 9-11 at FirstEnergy Stadium-Cub Cadet Field.
