Student allegedly sexually assaulted in Polsky Building

Friday afternoon, the University of Akron sent out a safety alert informing students of an sexual assault.

According to the alert, the alleged assault occurred Friday morning in the Polsky building.

University of Akron spokesman Ken Torisky stated that university was unable to release any more information at the time.

There was no description available of the suspect.

The incident has also been reported to the parents of the student enrolled in the Early College High located in the Polsky Building.

The University of Akron Police Department is asking students who have any information about this incident to call 330-972-2991.
