Akron men’s basketball traveled to Bowling Green Wednesday night and came home with a win, beating the Falcons 68-55.
The Zips entered the game 15-4 overall this season, 6-0 in MAC play. The Bowling Green Falcons entered the game last night with a 7-12 record, 2-4 in MAC play.
Alex Abreu was three for five in 3-point shots for the evening and freshman Reggie McAdams saw considerable first- and second-half play.
With last night’s victory, Akron moves to a 12-game winning streak, which is the second-longest winning streak in the NCAA behind the Kansas Jayhawks.
