Zips Softball

The Lady Zips have played eight games in the month of March, and they have split those contests 4-4. This brings their overall record to 10-9 on the season.

Freshman pitcher Erin Seiler was named the MAC East player of the week for compiling impressive stats in her games of the past weekend. Seiler pitched three complete games that were won by the Zips.

The Lady Zips head to Washington, D.C., for a double header this weekend. They will face St. John’s University of New York, and George Washington University.

The University of Akron Zips baseball team has gone 1-6 for the month of March, and they have clinched their first win of the season. This brings their overall record to 1-12 on the season. Conference play begins March 22, where the Zips will hope to improve on the season.
