If you have a longing for some good pizza but you do not have a lot of money, Pizza Bogo has what you’ve been craving.
The owner, Issam Halawi, started his career working for other pizza places.
His passion for pizza led him to go one step further than the rest and eventually open up his own restaurants to develop his vision.
Pizza without borders is what we make here, Issam claims.
He more than succeeded as Pizza Bogo was voted best Pizza in Northeastern Ohio by Fox 8 news in 2009.
On Tuesdays and Wednesdays you can buy as many pizzas you want for just $5.50 each.
The best part is that toppings are unlimited!
You can choose from their unique world pizzas that navigate your taste buds to different parts of the globe.
We want to show that every culture has their own pizza with our many ingredients inspired from different parts of the world, Issam says.
A great example of this is the Greek Pizza.
It is topped with many traditional Greek ingredients such as roasted garlic oil, special herbs and spices, mozzarella and provolone cheeses, feta cheese, spinach, sweet red onions, black olives, fresh diced tomatoes and chicken breast.
From Bangkok to Milano to the Napa Valley, there is a taste waiting for you. Each pizza is unique and loaded with toppings.
They also have specialty pizzas which include popular selections such as BBQ Chicken and Meat Works.
The shop also has all the typical sides of a pizza joint such as salads and starters.
They currently have three locations in the area. One in Hudson, one in Cleveland Heights and another in Akron. The Akron location is down in the valley at 1392 North Portage Path Dr. near Merriman road and the railroad tracks. Their phone number is 330-865-7777.
The pizzas must be picked up in person for the special price and make sure to call ahead of time because they tend to be very busy on these days.
Also, make sure to bring cash on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so they can keep the prices low for the promotion.
If you need a break from Ramen Noodles, stop in and give them a try.
