The blaze totaled the two cars located toward the top of the parking area. The vehicles, a pink and black Chrysler Sebring and a Buick LaSabre, were towed off university property. Police noted in the report that the Sebring received damage to the top, left rear trunk and bumper. The LaSabre received damages to the motor, battery and transmission.

The cause of the fire was unknown as of press time.
