The Akron Aeros will be playing the Binghamton, New York Mets with the first pitch thrown at 7:05 p.m. in Canal Park at 300 South Main Street, Akron. GSG group seating will be in rows A-F providing a no-obstacle view of the third base and home base line. Bring your glove: this section is known for close-in action, frequent, high-speed foul balls and pop flies.

The Akron Aeros are promoting the possible appearance of their newest addition with a cryptic picture of the lower trunk and legs of what may be a cartoon character. A naming contest is promised. You could be the lucky winner.

Bring your coat and umbrella in case spring may not be fully sprung on Opening Day, because, rain or shine, GSG will be there. Weather permitting; photos will be taken for the GSG Website at http://www.uakron.edu/sg/gsg/. Bring along UAkron and Zippy paraphernalia to help identify our UA participation.
