Sunday marked the 60th anniversary for the annual Los Angeles area Emmy awards.
Everyone who is anyone in L.A. was seen at this red carpet event. As we all know, who’s wearing what is a huge part of this dazzling night. But, before all of those fashion critics get to sink their teeth into these celebs, I’ll give you my take on the nights fashion faux pas.
Alan Cumming, whom I can only remember by his appearance in Spy Kids 2, wore a lime-green button up under a brown, blue, white and orange striped button up coat.
Not only does this guy have an eerie resemblance to Peewee Herman, but his wardrobe seriously malfunctioned for this event.
Walking around in irony was fashion critic Steven Cojocaru, who was clad in a metallic silver over-sized suit, matched with a very bright orange bow-tie identical to his very obvious spray-on tan.
However, the person who made it on my list, not for wearing an absurd combination, but for being scantily dressed was Phoebe Price. Not only did this middle-aged, excessive eye liner wearing woman wear flowery lace around her head, but her butt could be seen at all angles through her fiery red, lacey dress. She obviously took the, If you got it, flaunt it saying a little too seriously.
However, the night wasn’t a total fashion train-wreck.
Celebrity Christina Applegate presented herself in a light blue, one shouldered, Grecian styled gown.
Another stylish starlet to grace the red carpet was Vanessa Williams in a Kevan Hall black and white, beaded front floor length gown.
Now all you can do is sit back and listen to what the real fashion critics say about Sunday’s appearances, but use Cojocaru as an example, sometimes even the professionals aren’t so perfect.
