Do you need weekend plans? Head to James A. Rhodes Arena on Friday and Saturday to watch the women’s volleyball team (6-9) take the court. On Friday, the women will play Miami (Ohio) (7-5) at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, they will play Bowling Green (3-9) at 5:00 p.m.

Home matches provide fans with excitement and opportunities to win prizes right from the start when the starters throw out T-shirts to the crowd. During the match, the marketing team will have different opportunities for fans to win prizes, such as during their serving game. The marketing team lays out six T-shirts on the court, and if you serve the ball onto one of the shirts, it is your’s to keep!

While at the game on Friday, keep an eye out for Miami’s sophomore middle hitter Paige Hill. Hill was named MAC East Player of the Week after coming off a tournament weekend where she had sixteen blocks in three matches, along with 23 kills. She proves herself a strong competitor, as this is the second time this season she has won the honor of MAC East Player of the Week.

The weekend should bring excitement, so make sure you head out and support the team while possibly having the opportunity to win prizes to take home!
