Finals preparations

It’s that stressful time of the semester again where students are pulling all-nighters and cramming for finals.
The Union and the University Libraries are helping students alleviate their stress by giving them a series of free activities and providing them with resources to help them get through finals.
Bierce Library’s hours will be extended until 1 a.m. until May 1 during pre-finals and finals week.
WagTime Therapy Dogs will be in Bierce Library on Thursday, April 30 and Friday, May 1. There will also be free coffee on April 30 after 8 p.m.
On May 1, Krispy Kreme doughnuts will be first come first served from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. As a way for students to take a break from studying, puzzles and legos will also be available both days.
From Sunday, May 3 until Wednesday, May 6, the Union is offering students the options of a break, snack and various study rooms that can be utilized.
Snack amenities will be available from May 3 through May 6, Starbucks Coffee will be open until 11 p.m. and students can buy a $1 tall coffee from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m. Subway will also be open until 1 a.m. and there will be a free coffee station offered from 11 p.m. until 2 a.m.
As a part of a break in the SU, the game room will be opened until midnight on May 3,5, and 6. On May 4 there will be a CramJam from 7 p.m. until midnight in Ballroom A & B, which is sponsored by PHC, NPHC, IFC, and FSL.
On May 3 there will be free sweet rolls and fruit, courtesy of the Union Market.
The SU is offering free sugar cookies in the Commuter Lounge from 10 p.m. through midnight on May 4, which is sponsored by Off- Campus Student Services. Zee’s Natural will also be open until 1 a.m., and students can buy a $2 Small Jamaican Jammer or Kiwi Strawberry Smoothie.
Auntie Anne’s will be open until 11 p.m. on May 5, and students can receive a free 20 oz. lemonade or fountain drink with any pretzel purchase.
Ohio Burger will be open until 11 p.m. on May 6, and students can receive a free lemonade with any burger purchase.
The Union and the University Libraries are providing these services to students to relieve some stress that students are undergoing from finals by providing quiet study areas, snacks, activities and coffee.
