Concerned about the library being packed for finals week? Join The University of Akron’s Interfraternity and Panhellenic Council for Cram Jam, which is a 45-minute study session with 15-minute breaks in between sessions.
Cram Jam will be held in the Student Union room 312 on Monday, May 9 from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m.
Panhellenic Council Vice President of Administration Ellee Young said participants can enjoy games, eat free food, make tie-blankets for the community, and partake in raffles and activities during the various 15-minute breaks.
The tie-blankets will be donated to children by the non-profit organization Family Promise of Summit County, which helps homeless families get back on their feet.
“Cram Jam is going to promote academics on campus, which is something I am very passionate about as a future teacher,” Young said.
One does not have to be involved in the Greek community to participate in this study session.
