Another Red Bull athlete comes to campus
October 24, 2016
Famous tricker Bailey Payne will be visiting campus this Wednesday at 1 p.m. to perform gymnastics and parkour demos in Coleman Commons.
Payne began his career as a tumbler on a competitive cheerleading team that traveled around the U.S. He was originally from South Carolina.
In the growing sport of tricking, many competitions are held worldwide. Payne has competed in the Red Bull Throwdown tricking competition, has performed at NBA halftime shows, and on national television.
Red Bulls hosts many other similar events that bring athletes onto college campuses, such as professional slackliner Alex Mason, who visited UA’s campus last semester.
