The Britney Spears driving-under-suspension trial ended in a mistrial.

Are you f-ing kidding me? Don’t these people have anything better to do? What a waste of time and resources.

And, the worst part is, the jury was deadlocked, 10-2, in favor of acquittal. Argh.

The day you’ve been waiting for has arrived: season two of Celebrity Rehab premieres tonight at 10 on VH-1. To recap, Jeff Conaway is back and will be in group therapy with folks like Rodney King and Tawny Kitaen. And, let’s not forget Gary Busey.

If you simply cannot wait, check out VH-1’s Web site to watch the preview. Busey looks like he needs the most help, truth be told. Can’t wait.

I’m sure everyone has seen Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live. She didn’t do much, but she did very well.

See? I’m not a raging liberal. I can give credit where credit’s due.

I loved Alec Baldwin’s walk-on, with him bashing Palin to her face, thinking he was talking to Tina Fey. Good stuff.

Amy Poehler’s rap? Fantastic.

And the press conference bit with Tina Fey talking about the presidential debate was priceless. As she put it, when Barack Obama talks, it’s like an angel whispering in your ear.

No kidding, sister.

A few days after that PR extravaganza, it was reported that the Republican National Committee has spent about $150,000 on Sarah Palin’s clothing and accessories – including almost $5,000 on hair and makeup – since she was named the veep pick.

She’s not buying her clothes at Macy’s or Dillard’s, either. She’s been shopping at Neiman and Saks.

The RNC, however, has announced that these suits will be donated to charity after the campaign. Like that makes it OK.

Oh, one last thing: Walmart is still the devil.
