Spring break with a chance of flurries

” Spring break is one of the best parts of spring semester for so many students. But for many, this week will be spent hanging out in Northeast Ohio working and trying to catch up on sleep. For some people, spring break is just not an affordable option. But there are still ways to feel just as relaxed and pampered as that girl next to you in your English class who is going to Miami.”

Spray yourself
happy!

One thing so many women, and a few men, look forward to on spring break is a killer tan. Luckily, spray tanning is becoming a popular option. The worry of turning into a giant oompa loompa is practically gone. Plus the fact that it is not a risk to your health is always a bonus.
Places like Optima Sun Lab in Cleveland can help you become a golden goddess – or god – even if your ancestors helped seal your fate as tanning challenged. They do after all make the Cavs’ girls look like they just stepped off the beaches in Puerto Vallarta.

Spa day anyone?
There is nothing like hanging out and being pampered all day, so why not treat yourself in Akron? Head over to the Rec center for a discounted massage, a 30-minute massage will set you back $15 as opposed to the expensive day spa rates. Looking to get your nails done as well, check out one of the beauty schools around the area. Establishments like Akron Beauty School give their senior students the chance to put their news skills to use and give you a discounted beauty treatment.
Paint your wardrobe colorful!

Need something new to spice up that hoodie wardrobe of yours? Hit one of the local thrift shops for something old and occasionally new. Check out the Village Discount Outlet on State Road or E. Waterloo Road. you never really know what you will discover there.

Celebrate your inner Irishmen!

If you can manage to tear yourself or your other half away from ESPN head up to Cleveland and for the St. Patrick’s day parade and all the festivities that go along with the holiday. Top the evening off with the Cavs and Pacers game at Quicken Loans Arena.

If all the above fails, just clean.

Spring is right around the corner so why not use spring break to get a head start on your spring cleaning? A whole week to clean could produce great results.
