Sedaris to delight Akron audience Wednesday night

 On Wednesday evening one of the best-known humor authors will be speaking at E.J. Thomas hall.

 On Wednesday evening one of the best-known humor authors will be speaking at E.J. Thomas hall.

David Sedaris, considered a master of satire, will talk at 8 p.m. Wednesday night.  Sedaris a three time Grammy nominee in the spoken word category, has impressed audience with such books as Me Talk Pretty One Day, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, and When You Are Engulfed in Flames. Each topped the bestsellers lists.

Sedaris has captivated audiences of different nationalities, having his work translated into 25 languages. 

His work can be seen in The New Yorker or be hear on This American Life on public radio.
