The Ritz-Carlton is coming to the University of Akron to present an eight-course meal with international inspiration.
International Palette April 17 at the Crystal Room Restaurant in Gallucci Hall.
Open to the public, the event begins with a reception at 6 p.m. and is followed by dinner service at 6:30 p.m. Live jazz entertainment by UA jazz studies program student musicians accompanies the meal.
This event is hosted by members of the university’s Hospitality Club in collaboration with the MUSE restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton Cleveland.
Richard Soren Arnoldi, Ritz-Carlton executive chef, and his team will mentor the students as they prepare the international-selection eight-course dinner and wine event in celebration of the Ritz-Carlton Cleveland’s 20th anniversary.
Proceeds from the $65-per-person event benefits educational trips for UA Hospitality Club members.
The event ends on a sweet note with molten chocolate cake from The Ritz-Carlton menu.
