Several departments and offices will be transformed this week for the Department Decorating Contest.

During homecoming week, office areas and departments are encouraged to decorate to celebrate homecoming week. Departments were required to register with the Department of Student Life by 7 p.m. yesterday. Judging of the contest will occur on Thursday and the winning departments will be announced at the rally following the Spirit Parade.

The contest has been held before, but was not held last year. In the 2007 decorating contest, Simmons Hall won with its design. For this year’s contest, themes must be related to either the homecoming dance or the homecoming game against the Ohio University Bobcats.
