The International Student Volunteers organization will hold informational meetings in the Student Union Thursday.
The organization couples volunteer work overseas with adventure in foreign countries. Some of the countries that students have the opportunity to travel to include Thailand, New Zealand, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, South Africa, Ecuador and Australia.

Students can travel for between two weeks and three months and participate in many volunteer projects, varying from sea turtle conservation, teaching English to children, home and community building, rainforest regeneration and elephant conservation projects.
Within the adventure section of the trip, there are options of white water rafting, sea kayaking, scuba/snorkeling on exotic reefs, canyoning and cave exploration, exploration of cities and jungles and many other adventures.
Meetings will be held in the Student Union Room 308 on Thursday, every hour on the hour, beginning at 9 a.m. Information can also be found at the organization’s website, www.isvolunteers.org.
