“The University of Akron deserves a thumbs up and a pat on the back for making their auto assistance free. Before the auto assistance was free, the university charged $15 for things such as getting locked keys out of the car and jumping a battery. The university has realized that due to the economy, this fee may be a bit difficult to pay for some people, and they don’t want students safety to be in jeopardy, because they can’t pay to have something fixed.”

The University of Akron deserves a thumbs up and a pat on the back for making their auto assistance free.
Before the auto assistance was free, the university charged $15 for things such as getting locked keys out of the car and jumping a battery.
The university has realized that due to the economy, this fee may be a bit difficult to pay for some people, and they don’t want students safety to be in jeopardy, because they can’t pay to have something fixed.
This makes us think that the university may actually be thinking about their students’ well-being and safety, instead of money.
In fact, between this and the extra credit that was added to the full-time student tier, the university seems to be really wanting to help their students.
It seems a little shocking, but nice none the less.
It is nice to see them attempting show that money isn’t their only priority.
Hopefully they keep up this trend and really attempt to help their students, staff and faculty.
This will be appreciated by everyone.
