The majority of them went off-air, and those left are few and far between. Enough with Hannah Montana and the 16th season of the Real World/Road Rules Challenge. I miss this old stuff:
The Wonder Years
Episode after episode we watched Kevin Arnold grow up and face comical and tragic dilemmas. It was hard not to completely adore his witticisms and mischief that usually involved best friend and uber dorky partner-in-crime, Kevin, and his on-and-off-again girlfriend Winnie. This 60s based TV series even had the typical meat-headed older brother, Wayne, that always caused havoc between him and his brother. Nick at Nite never seemed so good.
Boy Meets World
Cory loves Topanga, and that’s all there is to it. If you grew up in the 90s, you know exactly what I mean. We give thanks to Mr. Feeney for teaching us all of the major life lessons we needed to learn, and miss watching Cory and Shawn’s antics. Luckily, every season is made available to us via DVD.
Friends
Everyone loved and still loves Friends. Joey, Ross, Phoebe, Monica, Rachel, and Chandler became our ‘friends’ as we watched the comical series that developed and went on for 10 years. Central Perk was the main hangout for the sextuplet, and scene for Phoebe’s great musical talents. The Manhattan based series ended gracefully and can still be seen today at random times on TBS.
