A website I’ve been digging for the past year or so is Postsecret, and you might enjoy it if you’re interested in human psychology. It’s a website I have made a ritual stop on the web for its creativity and the sense of community it seems to provide. Quite simply, people from all over the country send in postcards anonymously with their secrets, and the website showcases a handful of entries which are updated each weekend based on a themed. When I’m feeling down or alone, I read Postsecret and usually walk away feeling like I’m not alone with my feelings, or, at the very least, that I should look on the bright side because others are struggling with darker demons. Once you check out the site, you’ll see that Postsecret books are available to buy in retailers across the country. It’s also a fun activity to flip through Postsecret in bookstores for live secrets people leave on receipts or bits of paper to slip in the books.
