Prospective students gather for Fall Visit Day
November 5, 2013
It is that time of year again when seniors all over are figuring out where they want to attend college. Many UA students, at some point, have taken this journey themselves: going on college visits, listening to different presentations and trying to decide which place is the best fit.
On the morning of Nov. 2, UA’s Fall Visit Day kicked off with prospective Zips coming to learn more about the campus and all that UA has to offer. The friendly faces of UA students lined the inside of the Student Union to greet seniors on their path to finding a great college. While the parents were enjoying fresh brewed coffee and orange juice, the kids were walking around the Student Union learning about the different clubs and organizations here at UA.
“As soon as I walked through the doors I knew this was the school I wanted to attend,” said one prospective student attending Fall Visit Day. “It feels like the university wants you to succeed and they’ll be with you every step of the way.”
As part of Fall Visit Day, students and parents went on campus tours and attended information sessions on financial aid and majors. They also attended a Student Services Information Fair and a Residence Life and Housing Fair.
