After 10 weeks of watching football religously, scouting and researching every team, it’s time to break down the rest of the regular season.
National Football Conference
The Dallas Cowboys are clearly the class of the NFC at 8-1 but the Green Bay Packers (8-1) are closely behind talent wise. If Brett Favre had the weapons that Tony Romo has, this could easily be flipped. At this point, though, Romo’s Cowboys look to be the favorite.
The New Orleans Saints and Arizona Cardinals are in a close race in their divisions and have a lot to prove if they want to win their divisions. If the Saints’ defense can improve their coverage and Kurt Warner can stay healthy for the Cardinals, each team will be on top of their division at the end of the season.

It will take the New England Patriots nine more games to reach undefeated status and it looks like they will become the best team ever. The Indianapolis Colts have lost two weeks in a row and don’t have the flair that the Patriots seem to have this year.
The AFC North has been the best division in football for the past few years, but the Pittsburgh Steelers are on track to run away with the division after their 31-28 win over the Browns Sunday. Other than these three teams, the AFC is still wide open.
