Third Eye Blind sells out MACC Center

You haven’t been to an amazing show until you have seen Third Eye Blind play live.

Yes, the old school, late 90s early 2000s band is at it again and still rockin’ out.

The fans remained loyal as the whole place was sold out and packed, even with the weather and road conditions worsening as the night went on.

With the opening act leaving the fans a little stale, we were all hungry to hear the words to what is almost everyone’s favorite Third Eye Blind song, Never Let You Go.

After Stephan, Tony, Brad and Arion got done playing one of their new, unreleased songs they made an announcement to the audience.

Not only were we getting to see them play live, but the microphone that was hanging over the Crowd’s head was for the live CD that they will be releasing sometime in the near future.

As you can imagine, the crowd went insanely wild and the atmosphere seemed to turn into a sold-out show at Blossom on a hot, summer night.

The crowd was wild, ecstatic and more than eager to sing every lyric to every song that was played all night.

Third Eye Blind definitely didn’t disappoint when it came to playing the old school hits. Songs including: Semi-Charmed Life, How’s It Going To Be, Motorcycle Drive-by, Graduate, and Deep Inside of You, were played and sang all night by both the crowd and the band.

Jumper, was played for eight minutes and recorded for Barack Obama. Stephan and Leo, of the band, had played for Obama’s Change Rocks event in Chicago of December 2007. The band widely supports Obama and the upcoming election.

Continuing to tour until April, Third Eye Blind is playing at various universities and colleges throughout the country.

So if you find yourself in at a random college in Pennsylvania or Florida, check to see if they’re playing there, because it’s a show you definitely don’t want to miss out on seeing.
