Rape reported in dorm

“A student reported being raped in an unknown room in Gallucci Hall on Wednesday. The student is not a resident of Gallucci Hall. The incident occurred on Feb. 17 but was not reported to police until Feb 20. A suspect was not named in report. According to Police Chief Paul Callahan they do not know why the victim was in Galluci Hall at the time and it is unclear why the victim is unsure of which room she was in.”

The incident occurred on Feb. 17 but was not reported to police until Feb 20.

A suspect was not named in report.

According to Police Chief Paul Callahan they do not know why the victim was in Galluci Hall at the time and it is unclear why the victim is unsure of which room she was in.

Callahan said reports like this one are common.

Police are not releasing further information regarding the report and an investigation is pending.

Senior public relations representative Ken Torisky said, we’re not commenting now as it’s an impending investigation.
