University of Akron students who chose to purchase Microsoft Vista despite administrator’s suggestions to hold off can breathe a sigh of relief.
As of two weeks ago, the wireless network is completely compatible with Microsoft’s newest operating system, Computer Solutions worker Dane Holman said.
Students interested in configuring new computers can do so at the computer help desk, located on the bottom floor of Bierce Library.
Previously, UA administrators urged students to wait to buy Windows Vista to allow time for technicians to update the wireless network.
