The student debate that occured Wednesday was a great way for students to debate the issues that meant most to them, and to show that students do care who our next president is.

It is important for students on campus to get involved with the election process because it helps in unifying the student body on particular causes.

No matter who students decide to vote for, the fact that even a small number of students got together to voice their opinions is a good start.

Students that become actively involved in the campaigns of any candidate are showing how much the election means to them, while using their First Amendment rights of free speech in a good way.

Many students on campus believe that their vote doesn’t matter. However, in order for your vote to matter, it must be used. Simply becoming a spectator during such an important time is ones choice, but not necassarily the best of choices.

Rather than brushing the Ohio primary off as just another day, get involved and research issues that will have a direct effect on your life.
