The Zips have a five win game streak to and hope to extend it to six with Thursday game.
I’ve been saying this since the Kentucky game; if we keep playing our game and compete for 90 minutes the results should take care of themselves, Pfau said.
The Ohio Bobcats are currently third in the MAC Conference (6-2-2 conference standings) and the Akron Zips are fourth in the conference (6-3-1 conference standings).
To win, this is a chance for us to host at home and an outside chance for us to finish second in the conference, Pfau said.
Key players to keep an eye out for on the Ohio Bobcats is Erin Schwenke who leads the team in goals with four. Kelsey Schwenke leads the Bobcats in assists with seven.
Other players to keep an eye out for on the Bobcats is Amy Lower and Cathryn Rogers who have three goals a piece. Jasmine Merith has 17 shots for the season.
Goaltending for the Bobcats is Jess MacLean who has 53 saves for the season. Backup goaltender Christa Puccio has nine saves for the season.

Key players on the Zips is Rachel Phillip who leads the team in goals with five and has 38 shots for the season. Britini Back leads the Zips in assists with three and has 39 shots.
Other key players to watch out for on the Zips is Ashley Hughes who has 20 shots for the season. Jordan Baranowski has two assists for the season to. Alysia Virkler, Jordan Clark and Katie Wise have two shots a piece for the season.
Goaltending for the Zips is Jeny Wolbert who this week got MAC defensive player of the week honors with Central Michigan Shay Mannino. Wolbert has 60 saves for the season.
