Pink games kicking off in the fight vs. breast cancer

In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness month, Akron C.A.R.E.S., a student organization dedicated to finding a cure for cancer, will be hosting Breast Cancer Awareness Week starting next Monday. The following are the activities and events for the week:

Mammogram Monday: Table in Student Union 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Information on breast exams and free face painting.

Ta-Ta Tuesday: Table in Student Union 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Students can make a purse out of bras.

Wear Pink Wednesday: Table in Student Union 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Kiss Cancer Goodbye facts available.

Thoughtful Thursday: Table in Coleman Commons 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Honor a loved one who has been affected by breast cancer by putting her name on a flag to be placed in the ground.

Friday: Pink Game with women’s soccer team vs. Bowling Green 7:30 p.m. at the soccer field.

Saturday: Pink Game with men’s soccer team vs. Hartwick 7:30 p.m. at the soccer field.

Sunday: Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk 10 a.m. at the Akron Field House.
